By car
via the motorways A 52/A 3 and A 40/42

• Coming from Düsseldorf via the A 52 to exit Essen-Rüttenscheid
• Coming from Dortmund at the Essen-Süd junction take the A 52 towards Düsseldorf, exit Essen-Haarzopf
• From Duisburg motorway A 40 to exit Essen-Frohnhausen or Essen-Zentrum, then follow the signs "Messe/Gruga".

Subway line U 11 from Essen main station to Messe East

Transfer Airport Düsseldorf
With the ICE in 22 minutes from the airport train station to Essen main station. From there, take the underground line U 11 to Messe East in five minutes. By taxi/car approx. 20 minutes via A 52, exit Essen-Rüttenscheid
