Painting competition
“My World“

The Deutsche PhilatelistenJugend (German Philatelic Youth), the federal association of young stamp enthusiasts, is organising a painting competition as part of the IBRA 2023 World Stamp Exhibition (from 25 to 28 May at Messe Essen). The theme of the painting competition is "My World".

The best designs (deadline for entries was the end of January 2023) will be exhibited during IBRA at the DPhJ stand in the "Zentrum Philatelie" and produced exclusively as an individual stamp. Cash prizes will also be awarded to the most successful participants. 3rd place will receive a cash prize of 50 euros, 2nd place 100 euros and 1st place 150 euros. In addition, the school class with the most entries will receive a cash prize of 150 euros for the class treasury. The school with the most designs will receive 250 euros. The prizes will be handed over in the run-up to IBRA at local handovers in the participating schools.

As you can see, it is worth visiting IBRA. Parents with children, teenagers and young adolescents are welcome on any day. The youth action area is located on the left side of Hall 7, the stand of the German Philatelic Youth on the right side in the "Zentrum Philatelie".
